On this day:

Update Tues 7:45 PM

Changes:

1. Physical Therapist indicated that Anna's not ready to be tried on the bottle, will try again perhaps in 2 days. In the meantime, she'll be fed strictly via NG tube.

2. Her doctor will be leaving in a couple of days for a week or so. She indicated today that Anna may be ready to go home perhaps first part of January. (That's what we figured, anyway.) It all depends upon Anna and her learning to suck, swallow, and breathe. We're still very upbeat about it all, because God is still in control.

NaNa - She seems to be making amazing progress despite the small set backs. I know you'll love to finally have her home. BTW...how did the "discharge class" go?

Discharge class went fine. Went over CPR, choking, and other 'safety' stuff. Also discussed issues particular to Premies like SIDS, RSV, etc. I had forgotten the ABC's of CPR from when I was an EMT....so it was productive.
