On this day:

Phone update...

Changes:

1. She's on a nasal canula at 30% O2. 21% is room air. She got a little stressed out earlier...

2. Her flow rate through the canula is .2 liters. .1 is the lowest flow rate possible.

3. She has an IV now.

4. She's going to have her UAC line out (Umbilical arterial catheter). It takes an hour to pull it out bit by bit. This is a line that has prevented us from holding her, because of the danger of her bleeding to death. This is great news, because once it's pulled, it means she'll be 'mobile'. (meaning she can be held)

5. She's had some residual milk from her tummy, meaning she didn't digest all of the last feeding. The doc says that it was probably due to the stress from the extubation, etc.
