On this day:

Here's the lowdown.

1. Anna has a condition known as PDA. (Patent Ductus Arteriosus) This is where a duct in the heart that normally closes at birth does not. (particularly in premies). A link to the info:

2. Anna has a condition known as RDS. (Respiratory Distress Syndrome) - particularly common in premies. A link:

3. Anna has bad contractility of the heart. (her heart does not pump at maximum proficiency)

4. Anna has jaundice.
