New camera!

We've got the new camera now...hopefully posts will be more forthcoming in the near future. We've got to figure out some of the settings, however. Most of the pics we took tonight didn't turn out....there are some new ones below, and some new ones here.

But, afterwards, both parties learned to get along beautifully!!

New Camera on the Way!!

We ordered a new digital camera tonight, so we should be able to have new photos posted within a week. Can't wait for everyone to see her standing up by herself!

Ear Infection

Anna Grace got her ears re-checked today by her pediatrician and the infection is still not responding to the antibiotics. He increased the strength of the Augmentin she was already taking and we will have them checked again in 10 days or so. He said that we are not looking at tubes anytime soon. The criteria is three ear infections in three months or six in a year; this is her first one.

Updates

1. Last Saturday, Gracie was diagnosed with her first ear infection after a fitful night sleep. She was given antibiotics for it.

2. This morning, about 1AM, she had another seizure. Took her to the ER, and her ear infection has not responded to the antibiotics. She was given some more powerful antibiotics. The seizure seemed to be related to the infection, even though no fever was found. (We had given Ibuprofin as soon as she had her seizure - so she *may* had had one, but we don't know.) The doctor at the ER seemed unconcerned with the seizure, presumably because she had one before.

3. She'll go to her regular doc on Friday. Hopefully he'll have some more answers.

4. If her ear infection still does not respond to the antibiotics, she may have to have tubes put in her ears.

5. She had a PT appointment, and they are surprised with how fast she is developing. We have to place her in high tops so she can walk flat-footed vs. on her toes.

6. We are currently shopping for a digital camera, so please be patient, and we'll update with pics soon.
