She found a hairdresser that just works for tips. Ashton made enough money to pool it together with Tanner and buy a Hummer, (to see a picture, click here) and Gracie has a great hair cut....Everyone's a winner!

NaNa - Ashton, I'll be your next customer. Besides you will need a lot of money to pay for the gas for your Hummer. You probably should get Tanner working too!

On this day:

Texas Railroad

The Plummer family went on an outing to ride the rails yesterday. Some pictures are below, and others are here.

Anna Grace spends some quality time here:

She tried to sneak up to the front to steal the train for a joyride. She figured the hat made her incognito...

I've heard of pig's feet and pig snout being a southern delicacy, but.....

Emily told Grace that we would be leaving soon. G-Dog makes no bones about how she feels about the whole matter: (It's pitiful to see the pleading go on at such a young age...these kids now-a-days!! )

Here's the famous baldspot:

Here's Gracie not caring what anyone thinks. (We have taught her to take care of her appearance, but you know how young-uns are...)

At least Anna Grace doesn't worry about anything....

Please check out other pictures of our adventure here.

Poor baby - she looks miserable. I do hope that once the train started rolling that all were able to cool off.

Card houses

1. Build a card house (or card 'arena' in this case). This was done by Emily.

2. Tell Gracie about it....

3. Gracie takes care of the card house by doing a body slam on it.

Not sure if Emily or Anna Grace had more one with the card arena.

On this day:

6-month Check-Up

The results from the check-up:

1. Weight is now 13lb 12.6oz....she ranks in the 10th percentile.
2. Height is now 24.5 inches....also in the 10th percentile.
3. Hemoglobin is normal now, but will continue the vitamins with iron until about nine months.
4. She got three shots and a finger stick.
5. Dr. Pace is pleased with her progress and growth and couldn't stop talking about how pretty her lips are. Every time he said something about how pretty she is she would smile really big and coo at him. She does that to us, too. I know she knows what we are saying!:-)

It's hard to imagine that just 6 months ago, we couldn't talk to or touch her because she was so fragile. Prayers and faith work miracles.

Anna Grace had her first baby food tonight......carrots. She did very well with the spoon this time (we haven't tried again since the first cereal episode from an earlier post). She ate about half of a small jar!
