Easter

Updates

1. She's on her second monitor, as the first one's memory filled up. When the monitor stopped working, she slept through the night just fine without being monitored. The next day we received a replacement.

2. Last night her second monitor didn't work correctly, so last night she slept without being monitored, either.

3. She's met some more family members who have joined her fanclub.

4. She's sleeping through the night about half the time (10:30 P.M. - 5:30 A.M.). Other times she wakes up around 4AM.

5. She's smiling socially A LOT more. (Coos well, too.)

6. Like her Daddy, she stress-eats.

7. She enjoys being held. MMMmmm, let me rephrase that...she INSISTS on being held....(spoiled rotten :-) )

When I came home, I yelled out, "DADDY'S HOME!!", to which she said, "YAAAYYYY!!!"

I told Gracie, "You know that I'm going to have to keep your boyfriends away, don't you?", to which she replies, "AW Shucks!!"

Exponential Growth...

Ok...time for your memory to be jarred. Remember this picture?

Yesterday Gracie Girl was looking at the website and saw that picture above, and she was dismayed that she was only worth a dollar. She started crying, and I told her I would update it with a little bit more money. (To reflect how much she's increased in value...)

It's amazing how much she's grown. She was about 3 1/2 lbs in the first picture, now about 8 1/2 lbs in the second.

In the first picture, the diaper she's wearing is a preemie one. In the second picture, she's in a size 1. (She's already outgrown the newborn size.)

WOW.

Hard night on the town here....She insisted on staying out too late....

Comments now work...still some kind of issue with performance, though. I've changed the comment structure from linking to separate pages to a 'peek a boo' functionality (where they span out on the same page).

Updates

1. For those who have noticed, the 'comments' section seems to be disabled for now. This is not just for this blog, but for all posted on Blogspot. (I'll post back when it's fixed...either that, or I'll move this to another site....)

2. Went to the doc today, Anna Grace now weighs (drum roll please...) 8lb, 6.1 Oz!!!! For those Anna Grace newbies, this is more than twice her birth weight!!!

3. Still on the monitor at night.

4. Still on Reglan for her GERD.

5. Her hemoglobin is low. Doc gave a scrip for some iron supplement.

6. She's now reached the size of a newborn, but her growth curve is much more vertical than a regular newborn (this means her rate of growth is faster), because she's playing 'catch-up' right now. She should catch up at around 6-9 months or so.

7. She received her Synagis shot in her leg today.
